Page 7 ASSEMBL Y UNPACKING This product requires assembly. ■ Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. ■ Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
Page 8 WARNING: Disconnect the spark plug wire before assemblying parts. Failure to do so could result in possible serious personal injury. ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBES See Figures 2 - 5. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Place large clamp on the elbow tube and install the elbow tube onto blower.
Page 9 ASSEMBLING HARNESS STRAPS See Figures 6 - 7. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Place short looped end of the harness strap through the top bracket. Open loop and slide onto extruded end of the bracket. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Lace long end of the harness strap through the slot in the backpack frame.

Page 13 MAINTENANCE SPARK ARRESTOR The muffler is equipped with a spark arrestor screen inside muffler body . After extended use the screen can become dirty and may need to have the muffler replaced by an authorized ser vicing dealer . WARNING: Never run the blower without the spark arrestor in place.
