3-1 3 Configuring the Switch Initial Configuration The ProC urve Switch 1 800-8G ca n be manage d through a W eb- browse r inte rface that you c an acc ess from any PC or workst ation in the con nected ne twork. For init ial confi guration, yo u may want to assi gn an IP addre ss to the sw itch that is compa tible with your existing network.
