1 Preface About this Manual This manual is designed to d emonstrate the featur es of yo ur HP Action Ca mcorder AC150 . All informa tion presented is as accurate as possible but is su bject to change without notice. HP shall not be liable for tec hnical or editorial er rors or omissions c ontained herein.
2 Safety and Handling Precautions WARNING: Follow these instructi ons to prevent damage t o the camcorder: DO NOT USE UNPROTECTED/OU TSIDE THE WATERPROOF CASE IN RAIN OR W ATER. PREVENT CONTACT WITH ANY KIND OF LIQUIDS USE RECOMMENDED AC CESSORIES ONLY DO NOT DISASSEMBLE OR ATTE MPT RE PAIRS ON YOUR OWN.

5 Preparation Do not remove the micro SD Card while reco rding or sa ving. Do not switch off or remove the battery bef ore the recording has been stoppe d or as long as there is acces s to the memory. Protect the unit from extreme temp eratures. Stop recordin g at temperatures less than minus 10 ℃ and higher than 50 ℃ .
6 Insert the MicroSD Memory Card 1. Power off the camcorder to insert the memory card. 2. Insert the MicroSD/SDHC card into the memory card slot. 3. Push the memory card into the memory slot until it clicks into position. If the car d does not click into place, repeat to ensure proper positioning.
7 Camcorder Overview Note: The LCD scr een m ay hav e a s ingl e or few dark or light dots in the image. Th is is not a defect and does not have an impact to the recorded video or photo! Note: The buttons of the camcorder have more than one function. Fun ctions are noted on the drawings.
8 Power the Camcorder On and Off Note: Never remove the micro SD memory card or ba ttery during recording. Doing so may cause the permanent loss of ALL video and photos f rom the memor y card. LCD Screen Overview Power On Press the power button. The camcor der enters the video r ecording live view mode.
9 Basic Operations 1. Inserted the micro SD memo ry card before the init ial power up of the HP Action Cam corder ac150. 2. Set the date and time. Use the button to increase and the button to reduce the value of the category. Once you have the c orrect value displayed, press the button to se lect the value and move to the next category.
10 Delete Recorded Vide o and Photos In playback mode, pr ess the MENU button to display the delete option: Press the button to display the delete submenu as show below. Us e the or button to navigate to the desired selecti on. Press the button to proceed.

12 If you cho se to Protect All , a screen displaying a prompt to select Video File or Image File appears. Use the or button to navigate to the desired option and press the button to select. Use th e or button to navigate to the desired YES or NO selection.
13 The yellow highlighte d icon on the bottom of t he screen indicates the active menu . Pressing the button cycles to the next menu option. Press the MENU button again to exit. Video/“Mo vie” Record Menu Optio ns This menu changes settings relevant to the video recording options.

15 Photo/“Still” Capture Opti on In this menu, you can change settin gs relevant to th e taking photos. Below is a descri ption for each of the options: Option De scriptio n Still Image Si ze Change the digital photo resolution. 14M – Captures photo s in 4352 x 32 64 pixel r esolution using Di gital Image Interpola tion.
16 -2, -1.7, -1.3, -1, -.7, -.3, 0, .3, .7, 1, 1.3, 1.7, 2 0 is the neutral setting for this optio n and is the default value. White Balance Camcorder changes capture parameters to compensate for differe nt light color “temperatures”.
17 Delete This option allows for the del etion of one or m ore video/p hoto files f rom the memory card . Delete one - This option allows a si ngle vide o or photo to be deleted from the microSD memo ry card per a ction. Delete All – This option allows all video or photo files to be deleted from the microSD memo ry card per action.
18 Beep Options are: On – Select this to enable audible system beeps when setting th e menu options. This is the default se tting for this option. Off – Disables the audible system bee ps. Note : Th e beep is only heard t hroug h an HDMI or AV connection.
