15 2.2 Charging the Batter y It is reco m mende d that t he N P-40 Lithiu m B atter y be fully char ged before use. First, conn ect the ex t ern al battery c harge r t o the AC pow e r source (w all ou t let or powe r strip). Nex t, plug the battery into the ex t ern al charge r as illu s trated below .
