4 T o install a ceiling fan, b e sure you can do the following: • Locate the ceiling joist or othe r suitable supp ort in ceiling . • Drill holes for and install wo od screws .

13 Uninstalling the Lig ht Fixture 1. T o uninstall the light fixt ure, first disconnect the plug connec tors betw een the black wir e and the black/white wir e . 2. Disconnect the plu g connectors betwe en the two white wires. 3. Unins tall the nut and washer from the e nd of the light fixtur e inside the lower switch housing.

16 Problem: No thing happens; f an does no t move. 1. T urn power on, replace fuse , or reset br eaker . 2. Lo osen canopy , check all connections accor ding to the wiring t he fan se ction. 3. Check the plug connec tion in the swi tch housing. 4. Push motor rever sing switch firml y left or right to ensur e that the switc h is engaged.
