DO NO T allow air conditioning, electric fans, ov ens, open doors or windows (etc.

IGSV-ASCS-0303 6 Installation (cont.) Plumbing WASTE OUTLET AND P-TRAP The waste outlet is located off the center of the case on one side allowing drip piping to be run lengthwise under the fixture. A 1-1/2" P-trap and thr eaded adapter ar e supplied with each fixture.

Rev.0303 9 Humidity System GENERAL DESCRIPTION One contributor to the spoilage of fr esh meats is deh ydration, which causes loss in weight and v olume (shrinkage) and pr oduct discoloration. As the r efrigeration system remo ves heat fr om the case, it also r emov es critical moisture fr om the air , and any unwra pped products in the case.
IGSV-ASCS-0303 10 Humidity System (cont.) purge the line to flush an y debris that ma y clog the water filter . If the water line r equir es purging after the cases are hook ed together , it is not necessary to check each one . Simply shut ball valv es to each humidity system, remov e the water line fr om the last case in the flow , and purge .
Rev.0303 11 A CCESS T O TX V AL VES AND DRAIN LINES MECHANIC AL - Remove pr oduct from case. Remo ve pans. TX valve (mechanical onl y) and drain are located under the pans within the case. ELECTRONIC - The electr onic expansion valve master and sla ve cylinder(s) ar e located within the electrical access panel(s) in the rear of case.

Rev.0303 13 Finishing T ouches JOINT TRIM After cases ha ve been le veled and joined, and refrigeration, electrical, and waste piping work completed, install the splashguards. Fasten along the top edge, or center , with #10 X 3/3" sheet metal scre ws.
IGSV-ASCS-0303 14 User Information STOCKING Improper temperatur e and lighting will cause serious pr oduct loss. Discoloration, deh ydration and spoilage can be contr olled with proper use of the equipment and handling of pr oduct. Product temperatur e should alwa ys be maintained at a constant and pr oper temperature.

A sanitizing solution must be included with eac h cleaning process to eliminate this bacteria. 1. Scrub thor oughly , cleaning all surfaces, with soap and hot water .

Rev.0303 35 APPENDIX A. – Temperature Guidelines Refrigerated The refrigerators should be operated according to Hussmann’s published engineering specifications for entering air temperatures for specific equipment applications.
IGSV-ASCS-0303 36 dually scaled in Celsius and Fahrenheit shall be accurate to 1°C (1.8°F). Temperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Fahrenheit shall be accurate to 2°F. The thermometer should be checked for proper calibration. (It should read 32°F when the stem is immersed in an ice water bath).
