1 1 Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of this wi reless RF keyboard and mouse! This keyboard and mouse will finally free y ou of the constraint s of your desktop by providing a wireless co nnection betw een your ke yboard/mouse and your PC.
2 2 System Requirements ! Microsoft Windo ws NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system ! Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.
3 3 Hardware Installation Slide Switch Setting Step 1: Make sure your PC is switched off. Step 2: T ake the receiver and select cha nnel CH1 or CH2 by using the slide switch on the side of the receiver .
4 Step 5: Use the slide sw itch on the back of the key board to select the same channel as the one selected in step 2 on the receiver . CH2 CH1 ID Button Step 6: T ake the mouse and make sure the batteries o n the back are installed correctly . (Follow the polarity signs in the battery compartment.
5 ID Setting This wireless keyboard kit s contains 2 channels, and each channel contains 25 5 sets ID. This extra ID-recognition functi on help s to protect against interference from other RF keyboards in the same environment. # The w ord CONNECT labels the ID b u tto n on each unit.
6 3. When changing the batteries of keyb oard or mouse, there is no need to reset all the ID’ s . Simply reset one of them. 4. When keyboard batter ies are low , a battery low icon will show on the system tray . 5. When mouse batteries ar e low , a battery low icon will show on the system tray .
7 4 Software Installation After finishing the ha rdware inst allation as described in this m anual and st arting up your PC, you should be able to immediately take advant age of the wireless function of the wireless ke yboard and mouse.
8 5 Using the Keyboard and Mouse 5.1 Using the Keyboard Besides the usual key s, this keyboard also has extra-dedicated keys, which provide the following ACPI, mult imedia and Internet functionality: $ ACPI Keys: Y our keyboard has the power manag ement keys that are Power of f, Sleep, and W ake up three keys.
9 $ Multimedia Keys There is a row of multimedia keys on the top of keyboard. The fu nctions are described as below: Help Display the help file on the screen. Shortcut Provide you to create an easy access to the documents and programs you use most of ten.
10 Previous/ Fast Backward skip backward to the previous file/track or play backward fast when pressing once quickly . play backward fast when pressing on the button. Note: The Fast Backward function only supports Microsof t CD Player V ersion 4.0 (under Windows NT4.
11 5.2 Using the Mouse Driver After inst alling the mouse driver as describ ed in Chapter 4 you will be able to startup the Mouse Co ntro l Panel by right clicking on the KeyMaestro Mouse icon in the Windows task bar . This should appear after rest arting your machine.
12 The Definition of Mouse Extra Function: Function Definition Quick Jump Let you to open 8 special functions quickly . For the detailed, plea se refer to the ” Quick Jump Function Introduction ” in next section.
13 Horizontal Scroll Bar Set the cursor to the horizontal scroll ba r to scroll the document horizontally . V ertical Scroll Bar Set the cursor to the vertical scroll bar to scroll the document vertically . (the function does not support Windows XP) Windows Explorer Activate the 'Windows Explorer' window .
14 6 Troubleshooting If you are experiencing pro blems with your keyboard or mouse pl ease check the following: 1. T ake out the receiver ’s connector and ch eck both the receiver ’s mouse and keyboard plug for possible broken pi ns. If the plugs appear normal then reinsert the plugs into their re spective connectors on your PC.

If you have problem s using the extra browser buttons and/or th e special mouse functions - make sure you have inst alled the keyboard and mouse driver correctly as described in this manual’ s Chapter 4: Software Installati on. Also chec k your hardware requi rement s meet those listed in this manual 11.
