- 10 - Chapter 2 L ocating Ke y Componen t s on Y our T ap Machine Locate and RECO RD the Machine Serial Nu mber The serial number tag is located on the right side o f the machine, and also on the power cord. A serial nu mber tag is also loca t ed inside.
- 11 - Other Must Kno w Compo nents Figure 3 Lower Front Ri ght Compressor On/Off switch. You are already familiar with this red sw itch. It turns the compresso r on and off- it does no t "power off" the machine- that can only be done by unplugging it.

- 13 - Compressor Switch ! There is no master on/off power switch for the Jägerm eister T ap Ma chine. The red switch sho wn here only turns on or off the compress or for the r efrigeration unit.
- 14 - How Much Jäge rmeister Does Th e Machine Hold? The Jägermeister Tap M achine holds the following amounts o f Jägermeister: Bottle W ell Assembl y (remains at room tem p) - 125 ml - @ 4 Fl. O z. Cooling S ystem (Chilled Co lder Than Ice) - 5 75 ml - @ 19 FL.
- 15 - Bottle Cage Set U p: 1. Locate and remove the Bottle Support Cage (#C below ) from the plastic bag. 2. Remove the four (4) acor n nuts on the top of the machine. DO NOT DISCAR D. 3. Insert the f our (4) holes in the bottom feet of the Bottle Suppo rt Cage (#C below) on to the four (4) exposed threads.

Figure 11 - Seat Step 3. Insert the nec k of the bottle stoppe r directly into the top of the bottle .
- 17 - Figure 12 - Install Step 4. Unsnap the three (3) dust caps from the bottle well assembly . Carefully and slow ly tur n the bottle upside dow n and position it directly ov er the machine. If any Jägermeister be gins to leak ensure the bottle stopper is secu rely inserted and that the bottle sto pper w as properly cleaned.

Plug in the power cor d of t he machine into a 115VAC , 60 Hz., 15 Amp, 3- pronged powe r receptacle w ithin 5 feet of the rear of the unit. DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD OR SURGE SUPPRESSOR TO POWER THIS UNIT .
- 19 - 4. Pl ace each of the Jägermeister b ottles on the top of the machine by inverting the bottle and inserting the barrel end of t he bottle st opper assembly into the bottle well assembly until the collar of the bottle stoppe r rests inside the bottle w ell assembly f lange.
- 20 - Green, Red or Pink Fluid Informatio n If this is t he first time the machine has been used, or has been returned from repair, the in itial flow from the Jägermeister T ap Machine will be a ha rmless pink or green flu id followed by Jä germeister.
- 21 - Chapter 5 T urn It On and Chill it Dow n - Enjoy Jägermeister “ Colder-Than-Ice ” IMPORTANT Important It is very important that the rear of the ma chine is kept clean and free of obstructions.
- 22 - Note A s w ith air conditioning units, once the refrigeration switch has been turned on or off - do not switch it again for at least 5 minutes. Rapidly turning the switch on and off will p revent the compressor f rom prop erly starting and/or re setting.
- 23 - Chapter 6 Keep ing Y our J ägermeister T ap Machin e Clean WARNING THE RED REFRIGERA TION SW ITCH MUST BE TURNED "OFF" DURING CLEANING. FAILURE TO TURN THE RED REFRIGERATION SWITCH "OFF" WILL RESULT IN INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE M A CHINE.
- 24 - Bottle Stoppers Clean w eekly with warm w ater. Monthly O n a Monthly basis clean the machine as follow s : 1. Turn off the red refrigeration switch.
- 25 - 9. Replace the bo ttles of Jägermeis t er on the top of the machine and allow ample time for the bottle wel l to fill. DO NOT TUR N ON THE RE D REFRIGERATI ON SWITCH.
- 26 - Chapter 7 L et's T alk About T emperat ure Because some Jägermeister is inevitably left in t he spout of the machine after each shot, the f irst half an ounce or so will not be f ully cooled.

- 28 - How To Properly Test The Tempera ture of Jägermeister The J99 Jägermeister Tap Machi ne is factory set to dispe nse Jägermeiste r at the optimum tempe rature for enjoymen t - between -1 5º C and -9.4 º C . A simple procedure to test the dispensin g temperature can be performe d to verify that the temperature.
- 29 - 3. W ai t a few seconds f or the the rmometer to reach temperature. This temperature represents the col dest the machine will get, and sh ould be at or below -9.4 º C . 4. If the temperature is not below -9.4º C , repeat steps 2 and 3. 5. If after repeating, the temperature is still abov e -9.

- 33 - Troubleshoo ting Leaks What is Leaking Where is it Leaking Check T his Machine is leaking : WATER Under Machine The Jägermeister Tap Machine does not contain any parts that hold water. Any water leaking from a Tap Machine is either condensation, or water that has leaked into the machine during cleaning.
- 34 - Machine is leaking : RED, BLUE OR GREEN LIQUID If the machine is leaking or dispensing a red, blue or green liquid and the machine is brand new, newly repaired or a warranty replacement machine, the colored liquid is a 50% Glycol 50% water solution.

A fluid cam e out of the spout then nothing. This is a brand new machine, newly repaired or warranty replacement machine that has never been used.
- 37 - What is Leaking Which best describ es this Check This Machine is Leaking: JÄGERMEIST ER FROM THE SPOUT The leak occurs a few seconds after a shot is poured. Stops on it own after a while. The likely problem is that the dispense hose has become partially or fully dislodged from the spout of the machine.
- 38 - Fixing a Leak at th e Bottle Well Top 1. The bottle stoppers are used to k eep the mac hine airtight and allow bott les to be turned upside down with out and spillage. However, the y are not necessar y for keeping Jägerm eister from overflowing the bottle well.

- 42 - Why is m y Tap Machine leaking fr om the w ell? The reason for this is that one or m ore of the bottle s toppers are dam aged. You shou ld take the bottles of f of y our T ap Machine and order n ew bottle stopp ers. Note: sinc e the bottle stopper ma y not appear brok en it is best to dispose of al l the bottle stoppers .
