6 JL Audio “REMOTE” TURNON The J 2- 250.1 is tur ned on and o ff usi ng a c onventiona l + 12V remot e t ur n- on l ead, ty pical ly co ntrolled by the source unit’ s remo te turn-on ou tput.

8 JL Audio “LP FIL TER ” CROSSO VER CONTROL The J 2- 250.1 emp loys a 12dB/ octave lo w-pass (LP) ac t ive f i lter for it s i nter na l c ha nne l. T h is feature is designed to attenuate freque ncies abo ve its fi lt er frequ ency , so that the system ’ s sub woof ers do no t repro duce any aud ible m id ra nge content.
9 “BASS BOOST” CONTROL Th e J2-250.1 i nclude s a sin gle ba nd, bo ost- only bass equali zer co ntrolled b y a ro tar y knob ma rked “Ba ss Boo st ” . This control has a boost range of 0d B ( f ull-counter clockw ise ) to + 9dB (fu l l-clo ck w ise) a nd i s ce ntered at 4 5 H z.
10 JL Audi o SPEAKER OUTPUT Speaker connection to the J 2- 250.1 is stra ightforward and takes place at the far right of t he pow er / spea ker conn ection pa nel. T wo p osit ive (“ + ”) con nec t ions a nd t wo neg ati ve (“ – ”) c onnec t ions are ava i lable v ia a con nec tor l abe led “ Speaker Ou tput (Mono )” .
