8 T o re verse the opening dir ection of the door , pr oceed as shown in the figur es: W arning After completion of the door re v ersing operation, check that the door gask et adheres to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gask et ma y not fit perfectly to the cabinet.

Fitting the plinth Important For the efficient operation of the a ppliance , it is important that the original ventilation grid is used. • For an opening height dimension A=820 mm and a plinth height dimension a=100 mm, the plinth ma y be fitted without adjustments.
13 Star t y our appliance Insert the plug into the wall socket. The appliance can be activated by turning the thermostat knob (2) bey ond the «O» position.
14 F r eezing fr esh food In any 24 hour period y ou can freeze up to 18 kg of fresh f ood. Activate fast freeze b y depressing the fast-fr eeze switch (4) 24 hours befor e you want to freeze y our fresh f ood, the yello w light (3) illuminates.
15 Tha wing Fr ozen food, prior to being used, can be tha wed in the fridge or at r oom temperature depending on the time a vailable. Small food items ma y ev en be cook ed fr om frozen; in this case cooking will take longer . Any fr ozen food which is allow ed to tha w accidentally should either be eaten as soon as possible or thr own a way .
16 F ood Storag e • T o obtain the best results fr om y our appliance, neither hot foods nor liquids which ma y eva porate , should be placed in the larder compartment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as short as possible.
Defr osting The freezer compartment will become pr ogressiv ely cov ered with fr ost. This should be remov ed with the special plastic scraper pr ovided, whene ver the thickness of the fr ost exceeds 1/4". During this operation it is not necessar y to switch off the pow er supply or to r emov e the foodstuffs.
18 Important: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below , or to r epair a fault caused by incorr ect use or installation a charge will be made, e ven if the a ppliance is under guarantee.
