English 6 WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Refrain from operating the b lower if y ou are tired, ill, or upset, or if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication 2. T o reduce the r isk of hearing loss associated with sound lev els, hearing protection is required.
English 7 W ARNING Check to see if the shoc k-absorbers have become crac ked or otherwise damaged. Note that failing to replace these rubber and spring mounts when they have become crac ked or damaged may cause the engine to come loose fr om its frame during use, thus resulting in possib le serious bodily injury .
English 8 MAINTENANCE 1. In order to maintain your product in proper working order , perform the maintenance and checking oper ations described in the manual at regular intervals. 2. Alwa ys be sure to turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug before perf orming any maintenance or checking procedures.

English 11 ■ FLEXIBLE HOSE AND SWIVEL JOINT 1. Connect the blo wer and s wivel joint with fle xible hose . Clamp both ends of the flexib le hose securely with the hardware supplied with the unit.
English 12 ■ FUEL W ARNING • Gasoline is very flammable. A void smoking or bringing any flame or sparks near fuel. Make sure to stop the engine and allow it cool before refueling the unit. Select outdoor bare ground f or fueling and move at least 10ft (3m) a way from the fueling point bef ore starting the engine .
English 13 ■ ST AR TING ENGINE IMPORT ANT • A void operating the b lower with the flexib le tube and swivel joint disconnected. That will reduce the cooling air and the engine could be damaged by o verheating. 1. Push the primer bulb until fuel flows out in the clear tube .
English 14 ■ ADJUSTING IDLE SPEED • The idling speed is set for 2000 rpm at the factory . If it is necessar y to adjust the idle speed, use the adjustment screw on the top side of carb uretor . (1) Idling Adjustment Screw ■ ST OPPING ENGINE • Mov e the throttle lev er to the idling position and set the stop s witch to the stop position.
English 15 Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control de vice and systems ma y be performed by an y non-road engine repair establishment or individual. W ARNING Make sure that the engine has stopped and is cool before perf orming any service to the blower .
English 16 ■ SP ARK PLUG • The spark plug may gather carbon deposits on its firing end with reasonable use . Remov e and inspect the spark plug ev ery 25 hours and clean the electrodes as necessary with a wire br ush. The spar k gap should be adjusted to .
English 17 ■ AIR INLET NET IMPORT ANT • Blown air is taken in fr om the air inlet net. If the air flow drops during opera- tion, stop the engine and inspect the air inlet net for bloc kage by obstac les. • Note that failure to remove an y such obstacles ma y result in the engine becoming overheated and damaged.
