3 CA UTION—POWER b utton! Disconnect the mains plug and remov e all the batteries to shut the power off completely (all lamps and indications go off). The POWER b utton in any position does not disconnect the mains line. • When the unit is turned off, the pow er-on lamp goes off.

Before operating this unit, read this manual carefully and thoroughly to obtain the best possible performance from your unit, and retain this manual for future reference.
5 Preparations Connecting the Antenna Connect the supplied antenna by referring to the illustration. • Refer also to the manual supplied to the JVC PnP (KT - SR2000) for details. For indoor use, place the antenna closer to the windo w . For outdoor use, place the antenna a t a location from obstructions.
6 Preparations Do not connect the AC pow er cor d until all other connections have been made . Mounting JVC PnP IMPORT ANT : Make sure to turn the power off of both the unit and JVC PnP when a ttaching/removing JVC PnP . 1 Press PUSH on the top of the unit to open the dock holder .
7 Putting the Batteries into the Unit 1 Push and pull up tabs to open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit to the direction of . 2 Insert 8 batteries by matching the polarity as marked on the compartment. • Insert batteries in order of number as shown in the illustration.
8 Preparations T urning on the Power 1 Press PO WER on the unit. 2 T urn on JVC PnP . • The sound does not come out when JVC PnP is turned off. The po wer-on lamp lights green. • When the power -on lamp lights red, the batteries are almost exhausted.
9 Listening to auxiliary equipment Connect auxiliary equipment to A UX jack on the unit. • The unit changes the listening source to auxiliary equipment automatically . Note: Tu r n JVC PnP ’ s power off while listening to the auxiliary equipment to sav e the battery power .
10 T roubleshooting If you are having a problem with your unit, check this list for a possible solution befor e calling for service. If you cannot solve the problem, or the unit has been physically dama ged, call a qualified person, such as your dealer for service.
