Power Cord (1) Remote Control (1) [RD-T7RGN Only] Batteries for Remote Control (2) [ RD-T7RGN Only] If any of these items are missing, contact your dealer immediately.
3 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English Firmly insert the AC power cord supplied with the System into the AC inlet on the back of the Unit. CAUTIONS: • ONLY USE THE JVC POWER CORD PROVIDED WITH THIS SYSTEM IN ORDER TO AVOID MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGE TO THE SYSTEM.

5 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English ■ ■ Using the Tuner You can listen to FM and AM (MW) stations. Stations can be tuned in manually, automatically, or from preset memory storage. One Touch Radio (AC power only) — Just press the TUNER BAND button to turn on the Unit and start playing the station you were last tu ned to.
6 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English Manual Presetting (Using the Unit) — ■ 1. Select a band by pr essing the TUNER BAND button. ■ 2. Press the 4 or ¢ button to tune in a sta- tion. ■ 3. Press the 7 button for 2 seconds or more. The preset number and band/frequency are alternately displayed for 5 seconds.
7 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English You can use the RDS (Radio Data System) by using the CLOCK/ DISPLAY button on th e Unit. RDS allows FM stations to send additional signals with their regular program signals.
8 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English ■ ■ Using the CD Player You can use Normal, Random, or Repeat Play. Repeat Play can be set to repeat all or just one of the tracks on the CD. One Touch CD Player (AC power only) —————————— ■ Just press the CD 38 button.

In Stop mode, press the RANDOM/REPEA T button until the “RANDOM” indicator alone lights up on the display . Each time you press the button, the Random/Repeat indicator changes as follows.
10 RD-T7RGN/RD-T5RBU(B) / L VT0737-007A / English ■ ■ Using the Timers The timers let you control listening a music source as well as an alarm tone. Three types of timers are available. CD/Tuner Timer ( TIMER1): Use this timer to wake you up to music from a CD or tuner.
