20 English Basic Operations The following operations are commonly used when you play any sound source. IMPORTANT : When using the Remote Control, check to see if its remote control mode selector is set to the correct position: T o operate an audio system, TV , and VCR, set it to “ A UDIO/TV/ VCR.

31 English Using the RDS (Radio Data System) to Receive FM Stations RDS allows FM stations to send an additional signal along with their r egular program signals. For e xample, the stations send their station names, as well as information about what type of program the y broadcast, such as sports or music, etc.

It can create the same stereo sound as you listen through the speakers of f air while listening to a source using headphones.
