2 In order to use this pr oduct safely Preparation ( 墌 pg. 4) • Check that there is no dir t, crac ks, or damage to the O-ring. • Always apply g rease to the O-r ing. Attaching the Marine Case to the Camera ( 墌 pg. 5) • Make sure that the O-ring is not twisted, and that you do not f orget to attach it.
3 3. Check that there are no scratches or crac ks on the marine case every time you use it. The marine case must withstand water pressure with use. Repeated e xposure to pressure ev entully leads to material fatigue, which ma y result in damage of the marine case.

Main casing grip: Attach the included strap as shown in the diag ram abov e. # Zoom lev er $ Ring: Commercially av ailable fi lters (67mm diameter) etc can be attached. % Buckles (4 places): Seal the marine case. & Grip attachment holes: Y ou can attach the included gr ip , or commercially av ailable weights etc.
5 Attaching the Marine Case to the Camera 1 Pull the power/mode switc h lever of the marine case in the direction of the arro w ( Q ), and rotate it to lock it ( R ). If the power/mode s witch lev er is not locked, it may touch or damage the camer a when the camera is put into the case.
6 Recording the Video/Still Image Files Before recor ding Submerge the marine case with the camera equipped into a bathtub or water tank full of fresh water .
7 Detaching the Marine Case/Maintenance Alwa ys perform maintenance on the marine case after you ha ve fi nished recording. F ailing to perform maintenance on the marine case will allow dir t to build up on the case , causing water leaks. 1 W ash the marine case in water while it is still sealed.

2 Strap ( J P age 4) P ass the strap through th e strap attachment hole before using the marine case to maintain a firm gr ip in water . Buc kle opener (Hexagonal wrenc h (small) ) ( J P age 5) F or use when you hav e difficulty opening th e b uckle. Hook the wrench to the buc kle and pull to wards yo u.
3 Screw tightening ke y ( J Page 5) Use the key to tighten the scre w of the camera base . Glass cleaner ( J P age 4) (to pre vent fog ging) Apply the glass cleaner on the front glass bef ore using the marine case. Add two t o three drops of the cleaner on a lens tissue paper , and wipe the inner side of t h e front glass.
4 O-ring Rubber ring f or waterproofing. Chec k to ensure that the ring is not twisted and fo reign mater ials are not attached, f ollowed b y attachi ng it to the designated position. Swab F or cleaning the O-r ing g roove . Press it lightly against the O-ring groov e and mov e it around the circumference of the groo ve .
5 Pic k F or removing the O-ring. T o remov e the O-ring, inser t the pick betw een the O-r ing and the O-ring groove. Silicon grease F or protecting the O-rings and prev enting w ater leakage. Check to ensure that there is no f o reign substance on the O-ring before applying the grease .
6 Make sure to perf or m maintenance on the marine case . Salt cr ystal or dir t will accumulate inside the mar ine case if maintenance is not perf or med, and this may cause water leakage . A Prepare a container that contains fresh water that is five tim es more than the v olume of the marine case.
7 E Face the front glass of the marine case upwa rds, and open the buc kles to remo ve the camera, while pa ying attention not to let water drop lets at the O-ring or buc kles enter the case.
