Using Y our Ezy-Steam F ood Steamer Befor e first use remo ve an y promotional labels and wash the remo vable steamer bowls, rice/sauce bowl, lid, juice collection tra y in warm soapy water , rinse and dr y thoroughl y , also wipe the inside of the water reservoir .
Maintaining Y our Ezy-Steam F ood Steamer Alwa ys turn the power off at the po wer outlet and unplug the steamer and allow the unit to cool down befor e disassembling any parts. W ash the remo vable steamer bowls, rice/sauce bowl, lid, juice collection tray and element protection co ver in warm soap y water , rinse and dr y thoroughly .
KAMBROOK STEAMER All recipes assume that the pr oceeding assembly instructions ha ve been follow ed, eg after filling water reservoir the drip tra y is placed then the steamer bowl/s.
SESAME PUMPKIN Ser ves 4 600g pumpkin, skin pumpkin, cut into 3cm pieces 2 tablespoons peanut oil 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 . Fill water reservoir to “HI FILL ” and place the large steamer bowl onto the unit.
T OMA T O AND BASIL RA VIOLI Ser ves 4 375g pack et Fresh Ra violi pasta 1 cup spicy Italian cooking sauce 1 tablespoon finely chopped basil Freshl y ground black pepper Freshl y grated Parmesan cheese 1 . Fill water reservoir to “HI FILL ” and place the large steamer bowl onto the unit.
TUSCAN HERB CHICKEN 1x 1.3kg chick en, giblets remov ed 2 tablespoons lemon juice, reserve lemon halves T uscan dried herb seasoning Prepar ation 1 . W ash and pat the chick en dr y . 2 . Place lemon halves inside the ca vity of chick en. 3 . Pour ov er lemon juice over the chick en and sprinkle gener ously with T uscan seasoning.

12 KAMBROOK STEAMING CHAR T VEGET ABLES 1 . Clean the vegetables thor oughly . Cut off stems, trim, chop and peel if requir ed. 2 . Smaller pieces of vegetables will steam faster than larger pieces.
13 RICE, GRAINS AND CEREALS T o cook the rice in the Kambrook steamer follo w these simple suggestions. 1 . W ash rice under cold running water until rice water runs clear . 2 . Place rice and water into the rice cooker bo wl. 3 . Cover with the lid and set the timer .
SEAFOOD 1 . For the steaming chart below the steaming guidelines are for fr esh, frozen and full y tha wed seaf ood. 2 . Always clean and pr epare fresh seaf ood and fish befor e steaming. 3 . Most seafood cooks very quickly . Steam in small portions or in amounts as specified below in chart.
EGGS The following ar e some handy guidelines when cooking eggs in the Kambrook steamer . The steamer is ideal for steaming/boiling, poaching and scrambling eggs. F or boiled eggs - Using the steamer tra y , eggs may be cook ed in the shell to give the same r esults as boiling eggs.
