The surname and first name ha ve to be separat ed by a space, for example "no s" f or Noble Stephen. Ask yo ur system administrat or whether you should start with the surname or the first name.

Supplementar y features 24 n Dialling wit h Redial Y ou want to call a person you hav e already called. In the last-number redial list you r phone automatically stores the ph one numbers of the per- sons you ha ve already called , complet e with their names, where a vailable.
Supplemen tary features 25 n Requ esting a Callback Y ou want to talk to a certain person. The person is busy or does not answer . Y ou can make call- back requests to both int ernal and external subscribers. Not all providers support this function. If the called part y is busy , you can activate an autom atic callback.
Supplementar y features 26 n Call W aitin g on an Internal Su bscriber Y ou want to talk to an internal subscriber . Howev er , the person is busy . As a result of yo ur call waiting, the person hears a call waiting tone and your phone nu mber or name appears on his display .
Supplemen tary features 27 n Star ting an Anno uncement Y ou want to address internal subscribers directly via their loudspeaker – where av ailable – , without waiting for a reply (similar principle to that of an inter com system).

Supplemen tary features 33 n Forwarding Calls (Call for warding) Y ou want to leave yo ur desk. Calls for y ou are to be forwarded to a diffe rent destination (e.g . phone, V oice Mail, pager). With Call F or warding you can forward incoming calls dir ectly to a different destination.
Supplementar y features 34 n Forwarding a Call on No R eply (CFNR) Y ou want calls that you receiv e on your phone to be fo r warded to another destinati on. Both your own phone and the ot her destination will then start ringing. The system configu ra- tion determines whether or not there is a ringing del ay at the other destination.
Supplemen tary features 35 n Forward to V oice Mail Y ou cannot momentarily be reached on your phone. If you activ ate V oice Mail, a subscriber can nonetheless leav e you a message. Y ou can use the global greeting or your own greeting (see Chapt er "Configuring V oice Mail", 62 ).
Supplementar y features 36 n Forwarding to a messag e Y ou can not be reached on you r phone. Y ou want any internal subscriber who calls y ou to get a message. The sub scriber hears the busy tone and obtains a message on his displa y . Requirement: The in ternal subscriber must have a pho ne capable of receiving messages.
Supplemen tary features 37 n Lock ing Y o ur Phone Y ou need to leave your desk and want to ensure that no-on e can alter your phone's settings , look at your priv ate data, or make outside calls from you r phone. Y ou can lock your phone with a PIN consisting of two to ten digits.
Supplementar y features 38 n Unlock ing your phone Y ou want to unlock your phone. Y ou can use the PIN to unlock you r phone. If you hav e forgotten your PIN, yo ur system adminis- trator can rese t it to the factor y setting.
