9 ■ Place items so op en ends fac e down for best cle aning and draining. Quiet operat ing tips T o avoid thumpin g/clatteri ng noises duri ng operation: ■ Make sure lightwei ght load i tems are secured in the ra cks. ■ Make sure pot lids and hand les, pi zza pan s, cooki e sheets, etc.
10 Removab le top rack The removable top rack allow s you to wash larger item s such as stock pot s, roasters, and cookie sh eets in the bottom rack. IMPORT ANT : Remove dishes prior to removing the rack from the dishw asher . T o r emove the top ra ck 1.

Do n ot nest bowls because t he spray will n ot reach all surfa ces. ■ Load cookie sh eets, cake pans , and other la rge items at the sides and bac k.
12 Fold-down tines Y ou can fold do wn one row of tines at th e back of the bot tom rack. 1. Grasp the tip of the tine tha t is in the tin e hold er . 2. Gently pull th e tine out of the tine h older . 3. Lay th e ro w of tines d own in the rac k to make r oom for la rge r dishe s, b owls, pots , pans or roas ter s.
13 DISHW ASHER USE Detergent Dispen ser The dete r gent dispenser h as two s ections. The smal ler Pre-Wash sect ion em pties d eter gent in to the dishwa sher when you close the door . Th e larger Main Wash section a utomatica lly empti es detergent into t he dishwas her du ring the w ash.
14 Rinse Aid Disp enser IMPORTANT: Y our dishwash er is designed to use a liquid rinse aid. Th e use of rinse aids greatly improves drying by allowing w ater to drain from the dishes aft er the final ri nse. They also keep water from forming droplets that can dry as spots or streaks.
15 Cycle Selection Cha rts Selec t the wash cycl e and options desired. Or press ST A RT/ RESUME to us e the same cyc le and option s as the previou s cycle. NOTE : If the l ast cycle you comp leted w as a rinse cyc le, the dishwash er will run t he la st ful l wash cycle and opt ions th at yo u selected when you press ST ART/RESUME.
16 Canc eling a Cycle 1. Open the door sl ightly to s top the cy cle. W ait for th e spraying action to stop before opening the door to ac cess the cont rol panel. 2. Press CANCEL/DRAIN. The Cancel light glows. 3. Close the door . The dishwas her starts a 2-minute drain (if needed).
17 Sani Rinse Select th is option to raise the water temperatu re in the final rinse to appr oximately 155°F (68°C). S ani Rins e adds he at and time to the cycle. This high temperat ure rinse sanitizes your dishes and glassware in accordance wit h NSF/ANSI Sta ndard 184 for Resi dentia l Dishwa shers.

19 DISHWASHER CAR E Cleanin g Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, d amp cloth or sponge and a mild d eter gent is a ll that is ne cessar y to ke ep the outs ide of your dishwash er looking nice an d clean. If y our dishwas her has a stainles s steel exteri or , a stainle ss steel cl eaner is recommended.
