1 INTRODUCTION The Tandem is the smallest and lightest p ackage available in both a charger and on- camera power supply. It incorporat es all of the Logic Series ® circuits that are employed i n every Anton/Bauer ® charger.
2 SAFEGUARDS Power Sources: This unit was designed to operate at ma ins voltages from 120 to 240 Volts AC, 50-60 Hz. Risk of Electrical Shock: Refer servicing to quali fied service personnel. TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS UNIT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
3 Charging As with all Anton/B auer chargers, charging with Tandem is fully aut omati c. Mount any Logic Series battery to the Tand em and it will automatically determine and execute the appropriate charge routine.
4 Three Stage Charging Methodology In general, the Tandem will deliver a three stage charge routine to each battery. 1. Stage One will deliver a high rate charge matched to th e capabilities of the battery (typi cally a one or two hour rate , depending on battery type).
5 LED Indications The Tandem has three LEDs one red (charger), two green (ready and st atus). The st atus green LED indicates three stat es; 1) solid green LED indicates Tandem is operating as a charger. 2) Flashing status green LED i ndi cates Tandem is operat ing as a power supply .
6 OPERATION AS DC CAMERA SUPPLY FROM MAINS The Tandem will aut omaticall y operate as a DC power supply once the cam era, or other device is turned on. There are no switches, it is fully automatic. The single green LED will light i ndicating t hat the unit is operating as a power suppl y.
7 FCC NOTICE This equipment has been tested and found to com ply with the lim its for a Class A digital device pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC R u les. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a comm ercial environment.
