5 INSTALLA TION IN STRUCTIONS Unpack ing 1. Empty the mic rowave oven of any packing mat erials. 2. Clean the inside with a so ft, damp cl oth. 3. Check for damage, such as: ■ a door that is not lined up correctly ■ damage around the door , or ■ dents on the interior or ext erior of the microwave oven.

7 Dis pla y When power is firs t supplied to t he microwave oven, “:” will appear in th e display . If the “:” ap pears in the displ ay at any other time, a power fail ure has occurred. Reset the clock if need ed. When the microwave oven is in use, t he display shows cook time remaining.
8 Control Lock The Control Loc k shuts down th e control panel p ads to prevent unintended use of the microwave oven. If any pad is touched while the Cont rol Lock is active, “LOCKED” will app ear in the displa y .
9 Arranging If heating i rregularly shaped or di f ferent sized foods, arrange the thinner pa rts and smal ler sized items to ward the center . If cooking several it ems of the same size and shape, place them in a ring patter n, leaving the center of t he ring empty .

11 Custom Defrosting The Custom Defrost feature’ s preset programs can be used, or the microwave oven can be manually set to de frost. T o defrost manually , use 30% cook pow er . Refer to a r eliable cookbook for defrosti ng inf ormati on. ■ Food should be 0°F (-18°C) or colder at defr osting for optimal r esul ts.
12 Auto Sensor Popcorn The sensor in the microwave oven dete rmines the appropriate popping time of commercially packaged mi cr owavable popcor n. ■ Do not use regular paper ba gs or glassware. ■ Pop only 1 package of popc orn at a time. ■ Follow manufac turer’ s instructions when using a microwave popcor n popp er .
