7 Setting up the P rojector There are a n um ber of f actors to consider when d eterm ining where to se t up the projec tor, including the s ize an d shape of your scr een, the loca tion of your po wer outl ets, and th e distance between the projector and the res t of your equipm ent.

11 Computer connecti ons You can con nect a c omputer ’s VGA conn ector to the M 1-DA/DVI input o n the pr ojector usin g an M1-A cabl e. RS-232 connecti ons You can contr ol the pr ojector f rom an LCD c ontrol pan el or com puter b y connecting a n RS-232 cable to the pr ojector ’s Serial con trol co nnector.

16 Using the r emote cont rol The rem ote uses t wo provided AA batteri es. The y are easil y installed b y sliding the co ver of f the rem ote’s back , aligning the + and - ends of the batteries, sl iding them into place, and then re placing the co ver.

20 Color Space : this opt ion applies to com puter and C olor space component video sourc es. It al lows you to select a color space t hat has b een specif ically tun ed for the input signa l. W hen Auto is s elected, the pr ojector automatical ly determ ines the stand ard.
21 W hen Autosource is n ot chec ked, the proj ector def aults to Com ponent in itiall y, then defaults to whatever the last ac tive sourc e was when t he project or was powered d own. T o displa y another source, you mus t manually select o ne b y pressing the Source bu tton on the r em ote or ke ypad.
