9 V. TIME There are two methods by whi ch the time can be set : A) Automatically via WWVB reception or B) Manually. A. WWVB (Remote Control Time) This met hod requires you to do nothing except wai t for the signal to be received and to select a time zone.
10 6. Press the SET button to confirm the mi nutes and to advance to the Day, Date, and Year setting m ode. Note: In 12h mode, “PM” will appear to the left of the time during PM ho urs. If the time is not with in the PM hours, nothing will be displa yed.
11 10. Press the SET button to confirm and to advance to the ° F or ° C setting m ode. VII. SELECTING ° F OR ° C 1. Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds, or until “12h” or “24h” flashes in the DATE LCD. 2. Press the SET button 9 times to reach the ° F or ° C setting mode.
12 FEATURES OF THE WS-7025U I. BACK LIGHT The WS-7026U has a backlight that can be activated by pressi ng any of the eight function b u ttons. After a bu tto n has been pressed th e backlight will come on for five seconds before autom atically shutting off.
13 A. WEATHER ICONS There are 3 possible weather icon s that will be displayed in the FORECAST LCD: Sunny —indicates that the weather is expected to im prove (not that the weather will be sun n y). Sun with Clouds —indicates that the weather is expected to be fair (not that the weather will be sunny with clouds).
14 III. INDOOR TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY, AND COMFORT LEVEL INDICATOR The current Indoor Temperature (viewed on the left ) and Relative Humi dity (viewed on the right) are displ ayed in the INDOOR LCD. The Comfort Level Indicator is located at the center of the INDOOR LCD.
15 3. While “MAX” is still displayed press the IN button again to return to the current d ata display. By waiting 20 seconds during either the mini mum or t he maxim um readings the unit will automatically return to current data read ings. B. VIEWING THE OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE RECORDS 1.
16 1. Press and hold the AL1 button for 5 seconds or until the alarm-time display flashes in the DATE LCD. 2. Press the IN button to set the alarm hours and the OUT butto n to set the alarm minutes.

19 MOUNTING Note: Before permanently mount ing ensure that the Indoor Temperat ure Station is able to receive WWVB signals from the desired location. Also, extreme and sudden changes in temperat ure w.
20 1) With a nonabrasive solution, clean and dry the back of the mounting bracket and the mounting surface to ensure a secure hold. The mounting surface should be smooth and flat . 2) Remove the protective stri p from one side of the tape. Adhere the tape to the desi gnated area on the back of the mounting bracket .
21 TROUBLESHOOTING Problem: No reception of WWVB time signal. Solution: 1) Wait overnight for signal. 2) Be sure weather station is at leas t 6 feet from any electrical devices such as televisions, com puters or other radio-control led clocks.
22 MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS • Extreme tem peratures, vibration and shock shoul d be avoided to prevent damage to the units. • Clean displays and units with a soft, dam p cloth. Do not use solvent s or scouring agents. They m ay mark the displ ays and casings.
23 SPECIFICATIONS Temperature measuring range: Indoor: 32 ° F to 139.8 ° F with 0.2 ° F resolution. (0 ° C to 59.9 ° C with 0.1 ° C resolution) “OFL” displayed if out side this range Outdoor: -21.8 ° F to 157.2 ° F with 0.2 ° F resolution.
