10 Power Phone Up 2 Call Features This section describes the basic features related to calls. 20 Manage Received Messages Manage Received Messages Reply to T ext Messages When receiving a message, your phone displays a notification and the message icon appears at the top of your screen. The message icon flashes with an urgent message alert if the message is urgent.

22 Use Voicemail View Message Information When viewing a received message, se lect Options > Message info to v iew the message priority , sent time, size, and so on. Replay Messages When viewing a received message, se lect Options > Replay to restart the message (including a screen or sound if contained) from the beginning.
User Guide 23 Check Message Status in Outbox Use the following symbols to check your Outbox for the status of messages sent but still in process. Unable to Send Messages Y ou may not be able to send or receive messages if your phone’ s memory is nearly full, or if digital service is not available at the time.
24 Erase Messages Note: You can also save messages you have written or received as preset mess ages. Enable Auto Retrieve From Auto retrieve , select one of the following: • Disabled turns off auto retrieve and prompts you before download ing any multimedia messages.

62 Convenience Set Key Length From Key length , select one of the following to control your keypad tone duration: •N o r m a l sets the keypad tones to normal length. •L o n g sets the keypad tones to long length. User Guide 63 Y ou cannot make or receive calls, send text messages, use the Browse r or Bluetooth, but you can play games, use the Scheduler , set the clock, and make emergency calls to des ignated emergency numbers. Please check with uniformed personnel before operating your phone in Airplane mode.
64 Call options Place a Call on Hold Y ou can place a call on hold with Hold call enabled. Note: If you are alr eady on a call and you receive another call, you cannot place the incoming call on hold. With no call waiting enabled, the call goes to Voicemail .

From Expert mode , se lect one of the following: •N o r m a l sets the phone to default voice prompts. •E x p e r t sets the phone to sound tones instead of voice prompts.
