Apple Cinema Display Stand - 2 Removing the Display Stand Important: Bef ore you begin, • remove all jewelry from your hands and wrists to avoid scratching the display • wash your hands to prevent fingerprints or permanent marks on the display W arning: T urn off your displa y and disconnect the cable.
Apple Cinema Display Stand - 3 2. Cop y the serial number from the old stand to the blank serial number label. Af fi x the label to the same area on the replacement stand.
Apple Cinema Display Stand - 4 4. With the screws remo v ed, gr asp the stand, and pull it off of the mounting brac ket. Note: If the stand is difficult to remove, use one hand to hold down the display while using the other hand to pull off the stand.
Apple Cinema Display Stand - 5 Installing the Replacement Display Stand 1. Route the displa y cable through the opening in the replacement stand. 2. Place the replacement stand on the mounting brac ket. 3. Install the screws . 4. Place the displa y upright.
