Chapter 2: Getting to Know the Presentation Player DC-IN This is the jack where y ou will connect y our po w er adapter . P o wer Switch This switch is used for turning the Pla y er on and off. TO Monitor/Pr ojector At this port, you will connect the V GA cab le from the monitor or projector where y our presentation will be displa y ed.
Presentation Player Stop Use to stop your presentation or connection. Pla y Use to star t your presentation from the Presentation List. P ointer Use for the laser pointer . Connect Use to connect a new user to the Pla yer w hile in the Presentation List.
Presentation Player Chapter 3: Connecting the Presentation Player 1. Connect the V GA cab le from your monitor or projector to the Presentation Pla y er’ s “T O Monitor/Projector” port. 2. Make sure that the Presentation Pla y er is turned off. Plug the supplied po w er adapter into the jack on the Presentation Pla yer’ s back panel.
Presentation Player 9 Instant Wireless TM Series 8 Chapter 4: Installing The Presentation Player’s Setup Utilit y The Presentation Pla y er can pla y from an y PC in your wireless netw ork. Y ou will need to install this utility in each PC that will be used with the Presentation Pla y er – once installed , it will not need to be done again.
Presentation Player 5. The next screen, like that sho wn in Figure 4-4, will allo w you to choose where the Setup Utility will be installed. By default, the destination folder is C:Program FilesWPG12 Presentation Pla yer . If you w ant to change the location, click the Br o wse button and select anoth- er destination where it will be installed.
Presentation Player 13 Chapter 5: Using The Presentation Player’s Web- based Utilit y The Presentation Pla y er has been designed to function with the default settings in the Setup Utility . How ever , if you’ d like to change these settings, the Presentation Pla y er can be conf igured through your w eb bro wser with the W eb- Based Utility .
Presentation Player IP Addr ess - This is the Inter net Protocol Address that is assigned to the Presentation Pla y er . Click Obtain an IP Address A utomatically or Specify an IP Address . Choose Obtain an IP Addr ess A utomaticall y to allo w your Presentation Pla yer to automaticall y obtain a dynamic IP address from a DHCP server .
Presentation Player 3. The P asswor d tab, as sho wn in F igure 5-4, is where y ou change y our pass- w ord and restore the factory def ault settings for the Presentation Pla yer . Choose an alphnumeric passw ord between 4 and 16 characters and without spaces.

Presentation Player 5. The screen sho wn in Figure 6-7 will appear next if y ou ha v e WEP enabled on the Presentation Pla y er . This screen allo ws y ou to set the security for your wireless client.
Presentation Player Remote Users If you click on the Remoter User s button from Figure 7-1, you will see the screen in Figure 7-2. It will list the remote users w ho are connected to the Pla y er sho wing a presentation from the desktop of their PC.
