6 FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is s witched off and unplugged bef ore adjusting or checking function on the tool. Switch action CA UTION: • Bef ore plugging in the tool, always chec k to see that the s witch tr igger actuates properly and retur ns to the “ OFF ” position when released.
7 ASSEMBL Y CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is s witched off and unplugged bef ore carr ying out any work on the tool. Installing or remo ving the bit Loosen the thumb screws which secure the casing. Pull out the casing in the direction of the arrow .
8 Adjusting the driving depth Depress the stopper base as f ar as it will go. While k eeping it in this position, tur n the adjusting knob until the bit tip projects appro x.
9 Remo ving screw strip T o remov e the screw strip , just pull it out in the direction of the arrow . If you depress the re verse b utton, you can pull out the screw strip in the re verse direction of the arrow . Extension handle (optional accessory) Use of e xtension handle allows you to driv e screws into floors while standing.
10 OPERA TION Driving operation Switch on the tool by pressing the s witch trigger and at the same time pushing the lock b utton. Hold the tool squarely against the workpiece and apply f orward pressure to the tool. The screw will be automatically carried to the driving position and driven into the workpiece.
11 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes, inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. T o maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY , repairs,.
