Nev er use it for other pur poses or for other manuf acturer’ s batteries. • Whe n you charge a new batter y car tridge o r a batter y car tr idge whi ch has not been us ed for a long period of time, it may not accept a full char ge.
9 Switch action CA UTION: • Before inser ting the bat ter y car tri dge into the tool, alwa ys check to see that the switch tri gger actuates properly and returns to the “OFF” pos ition when released . T o st ar t the too l, simply pull t he s w itch tr igger .
10 T o install the bit, pull the slee ve in the directio n of the arrow and inser t the bit into the sleev e as far as it wil l go . Th en release t he slee ve to secu re the bit. T o remov e the bit, pull the s leev e in the direc tion of the arro w and pull the bit out fir mly .
11 1. When the batter y ca r tr idge is disch arged almost com- pletely , voltage will drop and th e f ast ening torque w ill be reduced. 2. Driver bit or so cke t bit F ailure to use the correct siz e driver bit or soc ket bit will cause a redu ction in th e fastening torque.
