High-Low speed setting b utton The tool speed can be changed instantly while the tool is running.
9 Installing or remo ving backing pad Hold the spindle with the wrench so that it cannot re volv e. Then screw the pad onto the spindle all the w ay . (The pad can be used to install the optional sponge pad.) T o remov e the pad, follo w the installation procedure in re verse .
10 Fit the wool bonnet completely o v er the rubber pad and pull the string tight. Tie a bow knot and tuck the knot and an y loose strings between the wool bonnet and the rubber pad. T o remov e the wool bonnet, f ollow the installation procedure in re verse.
11 P olishing operation by w ool bonnet CA UTION: • Alwa ys wear saf ety glasses or a face shield during operation. Hold the tool fir mly . T urn the tool on and then apply the wool bonnet to the workpiece. In general, k eep the wool bonnet at an angle of about 15 degrees to the workpiece surf ace.
12 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes, inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. T o maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY , repairs,.
