4 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing a Mas ter-Bilt cabinet. T his m anual contains impor tant instructions for ins talling, using and ser vicing a Master-Bilt T A F ERC2 case. A parts lis t is included in with this m anual. Read all these docum ents car efully before installing or s ervicing your equipment.

7 3. Rotate y our stock so that older stock does not accu mulate. T his is es pecially important for ice cream . A "Firs t-In, First- Out" rotation prac ti ce will keep the produc ts in good salable condition. 4. Do not place product in the c ase when it is sof t or partially thaw ed.
8 CONDENSATE PAN INSTALLATION FOR TOP MOUNT CABINE TS ONLY 1. Before m oving cabinet into plac e, rem ove the condensate pan f rom the top unit com partm ent. 2. Using the two screws s upplied with the pan, attach the pan to the back of the cabinet at the two holes near the bottom of the plastic dr ain line.
9 To initiate a Manual Defro st, press and hold the MAN DEF key for 3 seconds. There are two levels of programming in t he ERC 2. The first level of security will enable the user to set two paramet ers: Time-of -day ( CLoC ) and Set point t emperature ( SEt ).
10 To change the other parameters (Second Level ) f ol l ow these steps: Step 1 and Press and hold SET and DOWN for 10 seconds. The display will show dSPL Step 2 Press SET to change the par am et er S.

12 High Temperatur e Alarm ALHi High temper ature setpoint that will make the alarm go off and the error message appear on the display Range: from – 40 to 83 ° F or –40 to 23 ° C 50 ° F Important Note: To change from degrees C to F or vice-v ersa, the user m ust reprogram all the parameter s that are relat ed to the temper ature.
