1 SA VE THESE INSTRUCTIONS Impor tant Safety Instructions • Use the refrigerator only for its intended purpose. • T o pr event possibility of hazard due to electrical shock, never plug the refrigerator into a r eceptacle which has not been grounded adequately and in accor dance with the local and national electrical codes.
2 Leveling T o enhance appearance and to maintain optimal perfor- mance, the refrigerator must be level. Y our refrigerator has wheels which can be adjusted for leveling: • Remove the lower hinge covers (see fig. 1). T o do this, grasp each cover near the hinge and apply pressur e.

4 Looking Inside Shelves The T empered Glass Cantilever Shelves in your refrig- erator are adjustable, allowing you to customize the interior to meet your food storage needs.
5 The Egg T ray (style may vary) holds a “dozen-plus” eggs. It can be removed to be washed or carried to a work area. The Dairy Compartment (select models) , located in the refrigerator door , features extra deep storage for butter and cheeses. Some models are equipped with a butter dish, which is found in this compartment.
6 Ice Ser vice Automatic Ice Maker The water inlet tubing assembly requir ed to complete the water connection to the water valve is located in a bag inside the refrigerator . Connect the ice maker to the water supply as instructed in the separate instructions furnished with the refrigerator .
7 Ice and W ater Ser vice Automatic Ice and W ater Dispenser Dispensing W ater and Ice T o dispense ice or water , position a glass against the top portion of the actuator pad and press.
8 Food Storage Tips Fr ozen Food Storage • The freezer compartment of a refrigerator should be kept at 0°F or lower . T o check the temperature, place an appliance thermometer between the frozen pack- ages and check after 24 hours. If the temperature is above 0˚F , adjust the control as described on page 3.
