5 Electrical Connection T o properly instal l your range, you mus t determine the t ype of electrica l connection y ou will be usi ng and follow th e instructio ns provided for it here. ■ Range must be con nected to the proper elect rical volt age and frequency a s specified on the model/se rial number ra ting plate.
6 INSTALLATION I NSTR UCTIONS Unpack R ange 1. Remove shippin g materials, tape and film from rang e. 2. Remove oven racks a nd parts package from inside oven. 3. Do not re move the s hipping base a t this time. 4. On Ranges Equipped with Storage Drawers: Remove the storage d rawer .
7 5. T o mount a nti-ti p bracket to wo od floor , drill tw o ¹⁄₈ " (3.2 mm) holes at the posi tions marked on the bracket templat e. Remove template from floor . T o mount anti-t ip bracket to co ncrete or ceramic floor , use a ³⁄₁₆ " (4.
8 4. Add s train r elief. Style 1: Power supply cor d strain relief ■ Remove the knockout for the power sup ply cord. ■ Assemble a UL listed strai n r elief in the opening.
9 3. Feed the power su pply cord through the strai n relief on the cord/conduit plate on bottom of range. Allow enough slack to easily at tach the wiring to th e terminal block. 4. Use a Phi llip s scr ewdriv er to c onnec t th e gr een gro und wir e from the power su pply cord to the ran ge with the ground-lin k scre w and ground -link section.

11 6. Use ³⁄₈ " nut drive r to conn ect the n eutral (w hite) wi re t o the center terminal block p ost with on e of the 1 0–32 hex nu ts. 7. Connect lin e 2 (r ed) an d line 1 (blac k) wires to the outer termina l block pos ts with 10-32 hex nuts.

13 T o Replace: 1. Lift up the bac k of the storage drawer an d place it in side the range in its ful ly forward posi tion. 2. Lift up the front of th e storage drawer to a level position. 3. Slowly pu sh the storage dra wer into the range u ntil the drawer si de rails engage with the gap in the dra wer glides.
14 Mo ving the Ran ge When moving range, sl ide range onto cardboard or har dboard to avoid damaging the floor covering. If removing the range is nece ssary for cleaning or maint enance: For power supply cord-connect ed ranges: 1. Slide range forw ard.
