FLEXA RET A UTOMA T VI The Flexaret twin lens reflex cameras are a product of the Cz echoslovakian company Meopta (manufacturers of enlarging equipment). The F lexaret Automat VI was in production from 1961-1967. This camera is a multiformat camera, 6x6 and 35 mm.
When the 35mm film insert is installed, the number 35 shows in a window at the back of the camera to indicate 35mm film is installed. The number 60 shows when 120 film is used. When the ca mera is loade d with 35mm film, y ou need to rotate the frame counter reset knob behind the frame counter ¼ turn after every 10 th picture.
Shutter is a Metax, B, and 1-400 speed with self-timer a nd X flash sy nch. The focus leve r (which oper ates similar to the Minolta Autocords) has a depth of field indicator built into it. The lens is a Meopta Belar 80/3.5f, single coated, four element, three group tessar design.
