1 Product checking and p arts id entification 1 OUTLINE 1 OUTLINE 1.1 Product chec king and par ts identification Unpack the inverter and check the capacity plate on the front cover and the rating plate on the inverter side face to ensure that the product agrees with your order and the inverter is intact.
2 S tep of operation 1.2 Step of operation The inverter needs frequency command and start command. Frequency command (set frequency) determines the rotation speed of the motor . T urning ON the start command start s the motor to rot ate. Refer to the flow chart below to perform setting.

10 Wiri ng 2.4.2 EMC filter This inverter is equipped with a built-in EMC filter (capacitive filter) and common mode choke. The EMC filter is effective for reduction of air-pr op agated noise on the input side of the inverter . The EMC filter is factory-set to dis able (OFF).

15 Wiri ng 2 INST ALLA TION AND WIRING (1) Cable size and other specifications of the main circuit terminals and the earthing te rminal Select the recommended cable size to ensure that a voltage drop will be 2% or less.
16 Wiri ng 400V class (when input power supply i s 440V) The line voltage drop can be calculated by the following formula: Line voltage drop [V]= Use a larger diameter cable when the wiring distance is long or when it is desired to decrease the voltage drop (torque reduction) in the low speed range.

23 Wiri ng 2 INST ALLA TION AND WIRING 2.4.6 Changing the control logic The input signals are set to sink logi c (SINK) when shipped from the factory . T o change the control logic, the jumper connector on the back of the control circuit terminal block must be moved to the other position.
