4 2 Safe Operat ion Practices T raining 1. Read, understand, and f ollow all instructions on the machine and in the manual(s) bef ore attempting to assemble and oper ate. K eep this manual in a safe place f or future and regular ref erence and for ordering replacement par ts.

7 4 Kno w Y our Snow Thr ower Choke Lever Activati ng choke cont rol clo ses the c hoke plate on carburetor an d aids in s tar ting en gine. Refer to the engi ne manual pac ked with unit for m ore detail ed instru cti ons. Primer Depres sing prim er forces fuel d irect ly into engine’s carburetor to aid in c old -weather star ting .

9 5. If you have a groun ded t hre e - prong r ece pta cle, proce ed as follows. 6. Move Choke Control to the “ Full ” posit ion. 7 . Push Primer three ( 3 ) times, mak ing sure to cover vent hole when pu shing. 8. Conne ct power cor d to switch box on da sh panel.

12 4. Remove the spark p lug and pour o ne (1 ) ounc e of engine o il throug h the spar k plug hol e into the cylind er . Cover spark p lug hole wi th a rag and c rank the eng ine several times to di strib ute the oil. Rep lace spark pl ug. NOTE: Refer to the eng ine manua l for more informati on on prepar ing the sn ow thrower engine for storag e.
