5 SECTION 2: ASSEMBLING YOUR SNOW THROWE R Loose P a rts Auger She ar Bo lts (S pares ) NOTE: T he augers are secured t o the spiral s haft with two shear bolts and hex lock nuts . If you hit a hard foreign object or ice jam, the s now thrower is de signed so that the bol ts may shear.

8 NOTE: Always cover vent hole in primer button when pushing. Addi tional priming ma y be necess ary for first start if temperature is below 15 degrees Fahrenheit. • Grasp starter handle and pull rope out slowly, until it pulls slightly harder. Let rope rewind slowl y.
