[c]FP-DO-403 2 ni.com 2. Align the FP-DO-403 alignment slots with the guide rails o n the terminal base. 3. Press firmly to seat the FP-DO-403 on the terminal base. When the module is firmly seated, the te rminal base latch locks it into place. Figure 1.

Installing the cFP-DO-403 Wiring the [c]FP-DO-403 The FP-TB- x terminal base has conne ctions for each FP-DO-403 output channel and for an external supply to po wer field devices. The cFP-CB- x connector block provides the same connections for the cFP-DO-403.
[c]FP-DO-403 4 ni.com loads on the output channels, up to 2 A per channel. 1 Connect the external po wer supply to multiple V and V SUP terminals and to multiple C and COM terminals as need ed to ensure that the maximum current through any terminal is 2 A or less.

[c]FP-DO-403 6 ni.com Digital Output Circuit The [c]FP-DO-403 digital output ch annels are optically isolated from the rest of the FieldPoint bank . In the ON state, a transistor is turned on between the V OUT terminal and the ex ternal supply (the C and COM terminals).
