Gently push the memory card into the camera ( 1 ) to partially eject the ca rd, and then remo ve the card.

56 Features That Ca n Be Set Using the M ulti Selector Shooting Features Using th e Self-time r The camera is equipped with a ten-second and two-second timer for self-portraits. This feature is usefu l for reduc ing the effects of came ra shake that o ccurs whe n pressing the shutter-releas e button.
57 Features That Can Be Set Using the M ulti Selector Shooting Features Using Macro Mode When usi ng macro mod e, the came ra can focus on object s a s clos e as 3 cm (1.2 in.) from the front o f the lens. This featur e is useful when taking close- up pictures of flowe rs and other sma ll subje cts.

65 Shooting Features Fa c e D e t e c t i o n When the camera is po inted at a human face in the shooting modes listed be low, the camera automatically detects the face and f ocuses on it.
66 Face Detection Shooting Features B Notes on Face Detection Function • The camera’s ability to detect faces depends on a variety of factors, including whether or not the subject is facing the camera.
67 Shooting Features Ski n S o ft eni ng In the shooting mod es listed belo w, the camera detects up to three human faces when the shutter is r eleased, and processes the picture to soften faci al skin tones before saving the picture.
