OPERA TION GUIDE 2-1 2 Prep aration Before Use This chapter explains the preparation necessary before the machine is used for the first time after the F AX kit is in stalled in the machine. There is no need for the cu stomer to undertake this prep arat ion if it has al ready been carried out by a service representative.

This allows the receiving machine to ta ilor the reception of originals to its own circumstances.
