Connections En-13 Speaker Configuration The following table indicates the channels you should use depending on the number of speakers that you have. No matter how many speakers you use, a passive subwoofer is recommended for a really p owerful and solid bass.
Connections En-14 Speaker Connecti on Precautions Read the following before connecting your speakers: • You can connect speakers with an impedance of between 6 and 16 ohms. If you use speakers with a lowe r impedance, and use the amplif ier at high volume levels for a long period of time, the built-in am p protection circuit may be activated.
Connections En-15 Connecting AV components • Before making any AV connections, read the manuals supplied with your AV components. • Don’t connect the power cord until you’ve completed and double-checked all AV connections. • Push plugs in all the way to make good connections (l oose connections can cause noise or malfunctions).

Advanced Operations En-39 Menu HDMI Input If you connect a video compone nt to an HDMI input, you must assign that input to an i nput selector. For example, if you connect your Blu-ray Disc/DVD player to HDMI IN 2 , you must assign “ HDMI2 ” to the “ BD/DVD ” input selector.
