5 Connections Connecting to Y our Receiver/ Amplifier 1. Using one of the su pp lied audio cabl es, co nnect the casse tt e deck’s L and R LIN E OUTPU T jacks to the receiver/amplifier’s left and right ta pe inp ut j acks.
6 Basic Operation Loading and Pla ying a Cassette T ape Loading a Cassett e T ape 1. Use yo ur finge r or a pencil to tur n th e cas sette’s hub and take up any tape slack . Note: Avoid touching the tap e. Fingerprints a ttract dirt. 2. Pr ess t he app ropri ate EJECT ( ) button (Dec k 1 or Deck 2) to open the ca s sette co m pa rtment door .

If the original p rogra m do es not have bla nk spaces, yo u can add th em when you make a new r ecord - ing.
13 Special Features CD-Dec k Synchro Recor ding If your CD player has a co mp at ible CD Synchro f uncti o n , yo u ca n auto- matically r ecord you r CDs. Connect the C D player’s and cas sette de ck’s CD SYNCHRO jacks as described in “Connecting the C D-Deck Synchr o Con- tro l Cab le.
