5 EN GETTING ST ARTED BA TTERIES Batteries are not supplied with this product. Y ou will need to purchase 4 X UM-3 (AA) 1.5V alkaline batteries for the main unit, and 2 X UM-4 (AAA) 1.5V alkaline batteries for the remote sensor . Inser t ba tteries before first use , matching the polarity as shown in the batter y compar tment.
6 EN REMO TE SENSOR (THN122N) This product is shipped with two THN122N Ther mometer Sensors that collect tempera ture data. Da ta can be collected from up to 3 sensors. Additional sensors sold separately . SETUP SENSOR 1. Open the remote sensor batter y compar tment with a small Phillips screwdriv er .

8 EN STRONG SIGNAL WEAK SIGNAL NO SIGNAL T o force a manual search for Atomic Cloc k signals, press and hold for 2 seconds. If no signal is f ound, check the batteries. NOTE If the Atomic Clock signal is receiv ed and the hour is incorrect, use the “timezone of fset” feature to adjust it to the appropriate timezone.
9 EN A CTIV A TE ALARM Press to activate or deactivate the alar m. shows in the Clock / Alar m Area when the alar m is activated. SILENCE ALARM When the alar m time is reached, the crescendo alar m will sound for 2 minutes . Press any k ey to tur n it off until the next da y .
10 EN TEMPERA TURE This product can display current, minimum, and maximum temperature informa tion collected by the remote sensors and main (indoor) unit. Outdoor data is collected and displayed e very 40 seconds. Indoor data is collected and displa yed ev er y 10 seconds.
11 EN RESET SY STEM The RESET button is located inside the main unit batter y compar tment. Press RESET when you change the batteries and whenev er perfor mance is not behaving as expected (for e xample, unable to establish radio frequency link with remote sensor or atomic cloc k).
