Call 8 Getting S tarte d CONNECTING YOUR PHONE 1. Connect the output plug of the mains adaptor to the bott om of the base unit. 2. Connect the ma ins adapt or to a standard wall outlet. 3. Connect the telephone line co rd to the phon e socket at the bott om of the base unit and the wall phone socket.

The Answering Machine 23 The Answering Machine When first switched on, your ans wering machine is ready to be used. Your answ ering machine is se t to answer an d record mode. The answer ing machin e gives you clear v isual messages on its dis play. You can also reco rd memo s and acce ss the ans wering mach ine remo tely.
