5 Key Combinations Fn + F3 Display change (When the exte rnal display is co nnected) By press ing this key combin ation, you can se lect either an ex ter nal di splay , int er nal LCD or simultaneo us. 6 Key Combinations Fn + F4 Speaker on/off switch Pressing this key combinatio n tur ns on/o ff audio from the i ntern al speaker and headpho ne jack. NO TE Disabling the speakers will also disable the warnin g beep. Speakers conn ected to th e USB por t canno t be muted.

30 Panasonic Hand Writing Simple characters and figur es like signat ures and ar rows can be made by using the work surface of the touc h pad or t he touchscr een, and c an be saved to a file as a bitmap (.bmp) for m a t . Any change to the size o f an image must be made bef ore begi nning to d ra w .

33 Display Rotation After wi ndows is star ted up , you can rotate the disp la y and per f or m the touc h pad and touchscr een operations in the r otated mode. 1 Press the rotation b utton . Each ti me this button is pressed, t he screen d isplay rotates coun ter-clockwise by 90 ° .
34 Display Rotatio n By using t he Display Rotati on T ool, you can change th e setting s of the di splay rotation. 1 Right-clic k on the taskbar , and then select [Setting]. 2 Change the setti ngs. A. The display rotates to th e angles with checkmar ks in the order that t hey are shown.
35 Display Rotatio n If a vide o is play ed while the display is rotate d, the pic ture may not be di splay ed proper ly or th e sound m a y be broken up. This problem can b e cor rected by rotating the disp la y to [0 de grees]. The touc h pad scro ll, zoom, and d ata zoom funct ions do no t work wh ile the disp lay is rotated.
36 Standby/Hibernation Functions If you use the sta ndby or hiber na tion function , you can shu t down the compu ter withou t closing p rograms and do cumen ts.

If the battery oper ation time becomes noticea bl y short, and if perf ormance is not recov ered e v en after e xecuting Batt er y Recalibration, we recommend that the battery be replaced.

73 USB Devices Use the wr ite-prote ct tab (A). This is a must for preser ving imp or tant da ta. This pr e v ents your data from bei ng erased or overwritten. The USB floppy disk dri ve cannot be used at the sam e time as other floppy disk dr ives.
