Power Switch Do not rotate the power switch repeatedly . Once the computer is powered of f, you must wait at least ten seconds before powering it on again.
11 Getting Started 8 Setup Windows Moving the cursor ( ) or clicking buttons can be performed with the touch pad. 7 Dual OS Select the Operating System W indows 2000 and Windows XP are preinstalled on the computer . After one of them is selected with the following procedure, only that operating system can be used.
12 Getting Started First-time Operation This concludes the first-time use operation guidelines. 1 At the [W elcome to the W indows XP Setup Wizard], select [Next]. 2 After reading the agreement, select [I accept this agreement] or [I don't accept this agreement], then select [Next].

This manual explains functions for you to make greater use of the computer , such as how to add peripheral devices, how the Setu p Utility works and other useful information.
19 T roubleshooting The following is a list of the messages that BIOS can display . Most of them occur during POST . Some of them display informa- tion about a hardware device, e.g., the amount of memory installed. Others may indicate a problem with a device, such as the way it has been configured.
