Getting started VQT4C71 13 Connection • Before connection, turn off all equipment and read the appropriate operating instructions. If the TV does not have the HDMI terminal Connect the TV with the Audio/V ideo cable. ( > 14) About HDMI ca ble • Use the High S peed HDMI cables.
Getting started VQT4C 71 14 Connectio n • Connect to terminals of the same colour . • Connect to terminals of the same colour . • Do not connect video signals through a video recorder. Due to copy guard protection the picture may not be displayed properly .
Getting started VQT4C71 15 • When you do not want the audio to be output from the TV , set “HDMI Audio Output” to “Off” ( > 66, 75). • Connect to term inals of the same colour . Following function will be available when this unit is connecte d to the network.
Getting started VQT4C 71 16 Settings The TV can be operated from the T V operation buttons of the remote control. • Perform the setting if you c annot operate the TV with the TV operation buttons. While pressing [ Í T V], enter the co de with the number buttons.

Troubleshooting VQT4C 71 86 T rou bleshoot ing gui de The available recording time doesn’t increase even after deleting titles on the disc. • [DVD- R] [+R] Available space on the disc does not increase even after deleting titles. • [DVD- RW] [+RW] Available space on the disc increases when y ou delete the last title.
Troubleshooting VQT4C71 87 Picture regularly breaks up on some channels. • Adjust the aerial reception wit h “Manual Tuning”. ( > 66, 69) Picture very infrequently breaks up on some or all channels. • Electrical atmospheric interference ca used by bad weather may cause pictures to br eak up and audio to mute or distort momentarily .

Troubleshooting VQT4C71 89 The USB device is drawing too much power . Remove the USB device. Update of the software (firmware) is st arted. Y ou cannot operate the u nit until the update is comp lete . ( > 80) Software (firmware) is downloading. Download will stop when the unit is turned on, or the timer rec ording starts.
