Chapter 1 Preparation 11 Battery Charge At the time of shipment, the batteries are not charged. T o charge, place the handset on the base unit. Please charge the batter ies for about 4 hours before initial use.

17 Chapter 2 Basic Operations T o turn the handset ringer off temporarily When the handset starts ringing, press G firmly . • “ ” is display ed and the handset stops ringing. • The ringer will tur n back on f or the next call. • This function will not work when the handset is on the base unit.

39 Chapter 5 Useful Information Replacing the Batteries If “ ” flashes after a fe w telephone calls ev en when the handset batteries have been fully charged, it is time to replace the batteries with new ones. Remember to charge the new batteries after replacement.
