(It is normal for the adapto r to feel warm during use.) • If your unit is connected to a PBX which does no t support Caller ID and voice mail services, you cannot access those services.

Programmable Settings 14 Line Mode The line mode i s preset to “B” an d generally should not be adjusted. If “ Line in use ” on the handset is not displayed properly or the IN USE indicator on the base unit does not light properly , the line mode selection is incorrect.

Making Calls 20 V oice Enhancer T echnology Panasonic’s V oice Enhancer T echnology cl arifies th e voice of the person you are talking to, reproducing a more natural-sounding voice that is easier to hear and understand. V oice Enhancer T echnology can be turned on or off.

22 Caller ID Service This unit is compatible with Caller ID serv ices offered by your telephone company . If you subscribe to Caller ID, caller names and phone nu mbers will be displayed and recorded in the Caller List. How Caller ID info rmation is displayed When a call comes in, the unit will ring and Caller ID information will be received.
