Programming 26 Special programming Memo alarm An alarm sounds at the set time for 3 minutes. A text memo can also be displayed for the alarm. A total of 3 separate alarm times can be programmed fo r each handset. Y ou can set one of 2 different alarm options (once or daily) for each alarm time .

Programming 28 Incoming call barring (Caller ID subscribers only) This feature allows the unit to reject calls from specified phone numbers that you do not want to answer such as junk calls. When a call is received, the unit does not ring while the ca ller is being identified.

V oice Mai l Service 36 V oice mail service V o ice mail is an automatic answering service offered by your service provider/ telephone company . After you subscribe to this service, you r service provider/ telephone company’s voice mail system answers calls f or you when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is busy .
Usef ul In for mati on 37 Character entry The dial keys are used to enter characters and numbers. Each dial key has multiple characters assigned t o it. The charac ters that can be entered depend on the character entry mode (page 37). –P r e s s { < } or { > } to move the cursor left or right.
