10 RQT9777 ≥ Use a screwdriver ( i ) for assembling the speakers. ≥ Do not hold the speakers in one hand to avoid inju ry , you may drop the speakers when carrying them.
Getting started RQT9777 11 Step 2 Assembling the speak er s The speakers can be wall mounted by drilling screws into the wall, etc. Make sure that the screw u sed and the wall are st rong enough to s upport the weight o f at least 33 k g (72.8 lbs). The screws and other items are not sup plied as t he type and size will vary with each installation.
12 RQT9777 Connect the speake r cables. § If you have difficulty inserting the cable, tr y straightening the speaker cable and then bending the cable about 20 mm ( 25 / 32 q ) from the tip, at an angle of approx. 45 o (as illustrated above). Drive a screw into the wall.
Getting started RQT9777 13 Fit the speaker secur ely onto the screw(s). Red connector: The speaker attached to the red connector cable is to be placed on the right side. White connector: Th e speaker attached to the white connector cable is to be placed on the left side.

Fit the speaker(s) securely on to the screw(s). ≥ Use the measurements indicated below to identify the screwing positions on the wall. ≥ Leave at least 20 mm ( 25 / 32 q ) of space above and on each side of the speaker to allow enough space for fitting the speaker .

20 RQT9777 T o prevent the speakers from falling, it is recommended, as an addit ional protection measure , to attach t he speakers to the wall or t able with a fall prevention cord (hereaf ter “cord”).

22 RQT9777 Step 3 Connections ≥ T urn off all equipment before connection and r ead the ap propriate operating instructions. Do not connect the AC po wer supply cord until all o ther connections are completed. Y ou can direct the audio signal from the connected Blu- ray Disc player, DVD player , Set T op Box, etc.
Getting started RQT9777 23 Match the connector shape and connect to the terminals of the same color. ≥ Connect only after all other connections are complet ed. ≥ This system consumes a small amount of AC power ( > 31) even when it is turned off.
24 RQT9777 Prep aration ≥ T urn on the main unit. Press [ BÍ C I]. Active subwoofer o n/off butto n [ B Í C I] Use this button to turn the active subwoofe r on and off. C I: The active subwoofer is on. B Í : The active subwoofer is off. The active subwoofer will still consume a small amount of power even when it is turned off ( B , Í ).

Select the source. ≥ This remote control cannot be used to control the operations of the connected devices.
26 RQT9777 3D sound This system provides a feeling that th e sound and the image are as one. ≥ T o change the applied effect, refer to “Sound modes”. ( > right) ≥ T o turn off Dolby Virtual S peaker and the 3D surround effects, select “STEREO” as the sound mode.

While pressing and holding [SOUND] on the remote control, pre ss and hold [VOL i ] on the main unit for more than 4 sec. While the setting is dis played, press [SOUND] to change the setting.
