3 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS W arning Handling the mains plug and lead • Insert the mains plug fully in to the socket outlet. (If the mains plug is loose, it could generate hea t and cause fire.) • Ensure that the mains plug is easily accessible . • Do not touch the mains plug with a wet hand.
4 Caution When cleaning the TV remove the mains plug • Cleaning an energised TV may cause electr ical shock. Remove the mains plug fr om the wall socket when TV is not in use for a prolonged period of time • The TV will still consume some power even in the off mode, as long as the mains plug is still connected.

6 Installing Stand Base (TH-L42U5Z) 1. Place the L CD T V screen facing down on a fla t surface place where maintained with soft materials (such as a blanket) for protecting the display screen. 2. Use four assembly screws to fast en the neck to the base securely .
7 W all Mounting (Not supplied) Use the screws that ar e threaded into the stand-mounting inserts on the back of your LCD TV to secure it to a Wall Mounting kit. Note: Wall Mounting kit is not supplied. It is safe to use long screws for this pr oduct.

10 AC P ow er Cor d Connection This L CD T V uses nominal input voltages of 220-240V A C. It is designed to work with single-phase power systems. T o reduce risk of electrical shock, do not plug into any other type of power system. C onsult your authorised dealer or service station if you are not sure the type of pow er being supplied.
